General Terms and Conditions of Sale – Event Tickets for Effective Conservation in Action event

1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of tickets to attend the Effective Conservation in Action event, with the possibility of including a field visit to the Albufera Natural Park, all between May 6th and 9th.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Organizer

3. Ticket Purchase and Confirmation
After completing the purchase, you will receive a purchase confirmation by email. This confirmation is not an invoice but serves as proof of purchase. You can request an invoice through the payment system.
Tickets are valid only after successful payment.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed in euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Payment must be made through the payment methods available on the website.
5. Ticket Delivery
Tickets or access credentials will be delivered electronically by email.
In some cases, tickets may require personalization with attendee details, which must be completed before the event. Instructions will be provided by email.
6. Ticket Personalization
Tickets may be personal and non-transferable.
The purchaser is responsible for providing accurate attendee information within the indicated timeframe.
7. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article 103(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the purchase of tickets for leisure events with a specific date.
Therefore, tickets cannot be returned, cancelled, or refunded, except as expressly stated in these Terms.
8. Cancellation and Refunds
No refunds will be issued unless:
- The event is cancelled by the organizer.
- A significant change occurs that materially affects the event.
In such cases, the organizer will inform ticket holders and provide instructions regarding refunds or alternatives.
9. Event Changes or Cancellation
The organizer reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the event program, schedule, speakers, or venue if necessary.
If the event is cancelled, liability is limited to the refund of the ticket price.
10. Liability
The organizer is not responsible for:
- Personal belongings
- Travel or accommodation costs
- Any indirect or consequential damages
Attendance is at the participant’s own risk.
11. Data Protection
Personal data provided during the purchase process will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on this website.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law.
Any disputes shall be subject to the courts of Spain, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.
